The Proteas bowlers were well off pace in the last two one-day internationals against Sri Lanka over the weekend. The bowling attack on the South African side lacked strike power with not one bowler picking up more than two wickets in the last two games.

Novak Djokovic held off a gutsy Lleyton Hewitt to reach the Australian Open quarter-finals in Melbourne today. Djokovic is the defending men’s champion and he held his nerve to beat Hewitt 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 and thereby making sure that the top 5 men’s seeds all reached the quarter-finals.
